Summary

W.T. Markie Boot Factory. A three storey boot and shoe factory located on the west side of Connaught Street. The factory is built of brick with a Welsh slate roof. Ordnance Survey and other mapping, suggest that it was built c. 1880.

{1} 1890s three-storey, four-bay building, part of a complex of boot and shoe workshops, possibly constituting a single manufacturing site, which had its origins in a small workshop at the east end of William Street.
