Summary
A five storey leather warehouse on the east side of Guildhall Road. The warehouse is built of brick with polychrome work on the Guildhall Road elevation. The north end of the building is dated to 1876 by a plaque set in a gable. A similar plaque at the south end of the building shows that it was extended in 1902.

Full Description
{1} Five storey, twelve-bay former leather and mercery warehouse with gothic-style façade. The northern half is dated 1876, and the southern half was added in 1902.
{2} A five storey leather warehouse on the east side of Guildhall Road. The warehouse is built of brick with polychrome work on the Guildhall Road elevation. The north end of the building is dated to 1876 by a plaque set in a gable. A similar plaque at the south end of the building shows that it was extended in 1902. Once occupied by Phipps and is now a part of the Derngate Theatre.
{4} Six double-bay, five storey façade with multi-coloured brickwork remains from the warehouse constructed in two phases on this site in 1876 and 1901. Shoe mercers Phipps & Son occupied the building from 1899, becoming Phipps-Faire in 1967 and Chamberlain-Phipps in 1973, closing in 1978.
