Full Description

{1}Four sherds of medieval Potterspury/ Yardley Gobion pottery were found. In view of the dearth of medieval remains found during the watching brief it seems likely that the grounds of No. 7 Grafton Road lie outside of the medieval village. However given the nearby evidence for pottery manufacture and the often very localised extent of such remains, it is still possible that further pottery making sites lie within or adjacent to the present development.
