Full Description
{1} Pre-medieval enclosure. Rectangular earthwork comprising banks and ditches. Enclosure 1 is located in Three Bridges Quarter. 210m north to south and 197m east to west. It comprises a ditch 1.6m wide x 0.6m deep and a broad bank 5.5m wide x 0.25m high on the inside edge. The bank and ditch are seperated by a berm c.1.75m wide. Enclosure 1 is cut by the bank and ditch of Coppice E [Mon 9701/5/1] in the north west corner and by several paths and drainage ditches.
