Full Description

{1} Enclosure 2 is located in Stoneway Copse. It is an incomplete rectangular earthwork, aligned with Enclosure 1 [Mon 9701/0/1] and shares a common boundary. It measures up to 200m east-west. The ditch is 2.2m wide x 0.4m deep and the internal bank is 6.75m wide x 0.22m high. The bank and ditch are separated by a berm c.1.95m wide. The north west corner was not identified due to probable erosion. There was also a noticeable disturbance on the eastern boundary where the bank and ditch of Coppice E [Mon 9701/5/1] has cut through the earthwork.
