Summary

The Second World War dispersed communal site for Hinton Airfield is visible on aerial photographs and has been mapped as part of Northamptonshire NMP project. The dispersed communal site was located north of Forceleap Farm, west of the airfield. It provided a communal site for crew at Hinton Airfield and comprised mess facilities, quarters, recreational and sport facilities. The buildings have been demolished and most of the site has been returned to agriculture on recent photographs.
