Full Description

{1} The date of the enclosure of the common fields of Halse is unknown but appears to have been before 1634. Ridge and furrow of these fields can be traced in a number of places on air photos but little now remains on the ground. It is arranged in end-on and interlocking furlongs, many of reversed-S form.
