{2} Three-storey factory buildings of brick with Welsh slate roofs. The narrow east range has an irregular plan. It consists of five bays, from east to west, and has an east gable incorporating a pair of windows on each floor. This gable fronts onto the High Street. The building is presumed to be that shown on the 1884 OS map. The slightly later west range is slightly taller and has four bays of paired windows to east and west, and a three-bay north gable. The north gable incorporates an attic window. Painted signs bear the name 'Spratts'. In the angle which the two buildings form is a narrow yard, opening onto the High Street. The earliest occupants of the factory have not been identified.
