Building record 7203/0/3 - 17 Queen Street (rear of)

Summary

This two-storeyed, three-bay boot and shoe workshop stands to the rear of 17 Queen Street, though on its west side it appears to project into the plot belonging to 15 Queen Street. It has three west-facing first-floor windows, of which the central example has been re-fenestrated, and the remaining two blocked. The ground floor openings on this side appear to have been altered, but may suggest that the workshop belonged to No.15. A stack may have been dismantled.Queen Street was built in the early 1890s.
