Full Description

{1} Machine Works Factory and later Boot and Shoe Factory, corner of Duck Street/College Street. A Budgens supermarket now stands on the site. The first factory in Rushden erected on the corner of College Street/Duck Street in 1880. It was originally owned by Standard Rotary Machine Co. Ltd. And later by R.Tarry Shoe Manufacturer. The factory had a house attached to it.
