Monument record 8527 - Biddlesden Park

Eighteenth century parkland

{1-5} A post-medieval tree enclosure ring is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located within the landscape grounds of Biddlesden Park and centred at SP 63155 39432, a ring ditch up to 2.5 metres wide encloses an internal area about 21 metres in diameter. The ring ditch feature is not depicted on OS maps but matches an identical feature that is shown on OS maps about 174 metres to the E.
