Summary
Archaeological observation during the construction of the Bulwick Bypass. Three undated features, all which showed signs of burning, were identified. One of the features also contained slag.

Full Description
{1} Archaeological observation was undertaken during soil stripping for the Bulwick Bypass. Three features lying within c5m of each other were recorded. Feature A: linear feature 3m long, charcoal fill in sticky clay with some small stones and pebbles. 0.30m wide x 0.15m deep with a U-shaped profile. Feature B: description of feature given as three separate elements, with sketch plan and profile. Fills contained slag and evidence of intense burning. Feature C: Small patch of burning on natural limestone surface. All three features were undated.
