Full Description

{1} Documentary, Noble and Butlin map. East of Swan Street a single tenement is shown to the north, it is mostly orchard.

{2} Open ground is shown on the eastern side of Cow Lane. This pattern of land use is maintained into the mid C18th as shown on Jeffrys map where more detail shows the study area under cultivation for orchards.
