Full Description

{1} Four sherds of Romano-British pottery were recovered from Field 99. Thin scatters of Roman pottery in Fields 99, 100 and 104 are too light to suggest settlement and probably reflect former manuring practices. A cropmark site is located some 250m further to the south and if contemporary, could represent the settlement from which the area was farmed.
