Full Description
{1} Three distinct areas of settlement were identified by flints ranging from the early Neolithic to the early Bronze Age. These were labelled Sites 9, 10 and 11. A total of 160 flints were recovered from the three areas, details are shown in Table 2.
{2} Fieldwalking survey in 1980 identified a Neolithic - Bronze Age flint scatter (73 pieces in total) comprising 1 plano convex knife, 5 scrapers, 9 blade cores, 3 rough cores, 35 waste flakes, 17 utiilised flakes and 3 burnt flint.
