Find Spot record 7769/0/1 - Unstratified Early Neolithic to Early Bronze Age Flints

Flint scatter identified during fieldwalking survey.

{1} Site 1. A mixed period of occupation ranging from the early Neolithic to the early Bronze Age. A total of 73 flints were recovered, details of which are presented in Table 2.

{2} The fieldwalking survey revealed a low level of Bronze Age lithics across the survey area.

{3} Neolithic - Bronze Age flint scatter (70 pieces in total) comprising fragment of polished stone axe, 1 transverse arrowhead, 2 scrapers, 3 blade cores, 10 cores, 5 retouched blades, 22 retouched flakes, 4 cores, 4 reworked flint, 15 waste flakes and 1 burnt flint.
