Full Description
{1} At the east end is the Dutch Garden, also sometimes known as the Time Garden, a quartered design with low box hedges incorporating two sundials.
{2} Three enclosures form the centre of the ornamental garden. That nearest to the house is known as the Dutch Garden for no obvious reason except that it is relatively small and very neat. There are 6 large, rectangular beds in the centre, placed side by side in two rows of three, all contained within a raised brick edging. There are flower borders around the sides, and the whole of the rest of the area is paved. On the west side is a rather plain brick loggia, its roof supported in front on white columns.
