{1}FLDWKG; OCT 1991; M.WEBSTER; POTTERY SHERDS RECOVERED AS FOLLOWS: 3 SHERDS IA/RB; 18 SHERDS EARLY-MID SAX; 20 SHERDSLATE SAX/MED; 6 SHERDS POST MED; IA/RB MAY RELATE TO SETTLEMENT TO E <SN:2609>; ?OTHERS POSS MANURING SCATTER.

{2} Finds recovered in January 1993 included 106 sherds of Romano-British pottery concentrated in the extreme north-east corner of the field. This is a northerly extension of the concentration found in Field WR4.
