Full Description
{1} The cultivation soil and topsoil produced a low quantity of artefacts of late post-medieval and modern date (ie. C19th and C20th). These consisted of sherds of pottery, stem fragments of clay tobacco pipes, tile and a fragment of a glass vessel. These finds had no apparent concentrations and most probably originated as material derived from agricultural manuring activity.
