Full Description

{2} Settlement remains lie on the south side of the main street. Fragmentary remains of closes, bounded by low banks, extend from the street up the valley side, and passing under existing hedges, end against ridge and furrow. One close still contained a house in the mid C19th, but the rest had been abandoned by this time.
