Summary

A house that was built in 1824 located on the northern side of Main Road/Stamford Road, to the north east of Collyweston village. The building has been constructed of coursed rubble with a double pitch Collyweston slate roof with a ridge chimney stack at the eastern gable and a ridge chimney stack at the centre left. The road facade has a three window range of four paned casements to the first floor with two three light sashes flanking a central door on the ground floor. Above the central first floor window is a lozenge shaped datestone with the inscription M/R/F 1824. A single window range is situated to the left of the ridge chimney stack with similar casement and sash windows to the main build. This range was built later in the 19th century.
