Full Description

{1} Quarry pits recorded as part of Rockingham Forest Project.

{2} Plans at NRO show three principal quarrying areas. Woodford itself lies south of the main road, the initial gullet of 1881 in line with the road bridge and followed on by workings each side to the north-west and east.
