Full Description

{1} Quarry pits identified as part of Rockingham Forest Project Survey.

{2} The three fields opened up included Redbrinks, which was still being used 50 years later by the Islip Iron Co Ltd (see Mon 8468). Redbrinks lay north of the road, and was worked anti-clockwise from northto south, evidently from a single junction and exchange point with the main tramway.
