Summary

A small, gabled brick-built two-storey workshop in an enclosed yard (Curtis Yard) on the south side of Cambridge Street. The workshop is built from brick except for the stone west wall and a roof covered in corrugated asbestos. It may date from the early 19th century. In 1893 it was the address of Clark B Curtis, boot & shoe manufacturer.

Full Description

{1} This 2-storey building, probably a workshop, is situated at the rear of 32 Cambridge Street. In 1893 this was the address of Clark B. Curtis, boot and shoe manufacturer. The heated workshop is built from brick except for a stone west wall; the roof is covered in corrugated asbestos.
