Slight earthwork remains of the park pale of a Medieval deer park, extant from c1230 to the 17th century.

Full Description

{1} Deer park centred SP 745445. First mentioned in 1230. Enlarged by 154 acres (64 ha.) in 1537, the park apparently went out of use in the C17th. Its final boundaries are marked on maps of 1720, 1728 and 1776, though its medieval extent is uncertain. Some traces of a boundary bank remain. The interior of the park is covered with ridge and furrow apparently pre-dating the park
