Full Description

{1} A series of quarry pits lay at the far western end of the site, a small number of which were excavated to explore their depth and fills. Artefacts recovered from the fillls included 17th and 18th century bottle glass, tile fragments dated from the 13th to the 18th centuries, clay pipe bowls and fragments dating to the 17th and 18th centuries and a fragment of handmade brick dated no later than the early 19th century.
