Full Description

{1} Medieval and late medieval pottery was present in all the fields walked but not in sufficient quantities to suggest settlement; rather they are indicative of former manuring practice. A relatively dense spread was noticeable in fields 86, 87 and 89, suggestive of intensive manuring in the immediate surroundings of the settlement.
