Full Description

{1} In 1817 a building is shown standing immediately adjacent to the south-east mount of the Middle Garden, but on the outside edge of the moat. This is the location of a building today, the date of which is not known. It is possible that the 1817 map is trying to depict the C18th cottage [112/0/48] located slightly further to the east.
