Full Description

{1} Red brick rectangular chapel, of two storeys and three bays on each side. The road frontage is of three bays by two brick pillars. The ground floor had two rectangular paned windows to either side and a blank bay in the centre. The upper storey has arched windows with arch shaped glazing to either side bay and a blind arch headed window in the centre. The entrance to the building is located on the gable-ended west side. There is a ground floor doorway in the central bay and two arch headed windows (with replaced glazing) in the bayss to either side. There is a small occuli below the eaves level of the building - this has been infilled with brick. The east end of the building is similar in appearance to the west including arched windows (with original glazing) and occuli, but there is no entrance on this side. The rear of the building has been altered. There is evidence for blocked arch headed windows and a blocked door. A scar for a former roof line for a presumed ancilliary structure can be seen on this face.

The existing chapel is to be demolished and replaced with a modern chapel building on the same site.
