Building record 3250/21/2 - Messrs Philips Brothers Factory, The Gap/Eastfield Road

This single storey boot and shoe factory consists of six north lit sheds built circa 1910. Each bay is demarcated by a pilaster and all have occuli in their gables. [Also known as the Shelton Factory]

{1]. To the rear of this large building is another shoe factory (Messr. Philips Bros) comprising of a number of north lit sheds.

{4}Unremarkable outbuilding of undetermined use, probably storage prior to despatch or tool shed etc. Demolition a possibility. Photographs on DVD including view of main building from Irchester Road.
