Full Description

{1} A flint flake was found in trench 54. The trench was then sample excavted and found to contain a very sterile, leached, light, yellow sand. The flake was in a light brown vitreous flint and is a small rod-like blade, retouched along the edges. It therefore appears to be a broken, obliquely blunted microlithic point of Mesolithic date.
