Full Description

{1} Stone well, c.20 feet deep. Approx 3ft diameter at top, widening to c. 7ft lower down and then narrowing at base. Modern building rubble fills upper part. Possibly Victorian pottery and a wooden contraption were found in the lower fill. The contraption comprises a hollow tree trunk type pipe and a perforated board. Well is undated.
