Summary
These quarries were small in area and none of them lasted for any great length of time. They are listed as F.V.Smith 1878-80, Thos.Walters 1881-4 Disused 1885.,James Pain 1882-4 Disused 1885. F.V.Smith and Thomas Walters from 1881 somewhere in the vicinity of the railway station traction of the tramway believed to be by horse or by hand. There is little or no remains visible of these quarries.
