{1} Photos of 2 terraces of workers cottages built in 1904.

{2} Loddington was rather remote and difficulties were continually being experienced in getting men to stay; the workforce was about 100 men, so many had to travel considerable distances. To relieve this situation, a row of twelve cottages ('Ellistown') was completed in Loddington in 1904 and immediately let.
