Full Description

{1} The distribution of worked lithics points to prehistoric activity across much of the study area. Fields 1-2 and fields 9-10 had moderately dense scatters. The tools showed some clustering in fields 9-10 which may be indicative of a settlement focus. It should be noted that this cluster corresponds with the area of cropmarks and geophysical anomalies. The majority of flints date from the Neolithic - Bronze Age.
