Full Description

{1} Pits 17, 48, 83, 99, 100, 102, 116 and 119 all contained Roman pottery and must be associated with building areas 1 and 2 (1641/0/7 and 1641/0/20). These confirm late C2nd occupation, but do not prove it for the C3rd or C4th.
