Full Description

{1} The remains of some human skeletons were found sticking from the ground. The skeletons represent the scattered, unarticulated and very incomplete remains of at least seven persons, one an adolescent. They are possibly the result of an epidemic or perhaps a fight hereabouts, and are dated by contemporary pottery to the C3rd at the latest. One human tibia was found 30yd away eastwards from the concentration; unfortunately this area could not be further examined.
