Full Description

{1} 1950s OS maps clearly indicate in excess of 65 rectangular buildings, the vast majority located in rows in the field immediately north of Old Sulehay Forest, with two main rows laid out immediately alongside the northern perimeter of the Forest. The main communal buildings, as represented by larger rectangular structures, lay at the western end of the site. The mapped evidence also indicates that a small number of structures (at least 6) were located within the adjoining woodland.
