Full Description

{1} The Anglo-Saxon feature is on the edge of the stripped area and part may survive. The feature was filled with a mixture of dark and brown loam with some large stones at either end. Three small sherds of typical black gritty pottery were found in the fill. Sketch plan suggests that it was of rectilinear form and c.3m wide.
