Full Description
{1} By the roadside is a fine ironstone built pedestrian gateway with short projecting walls. The gate piers are topped by ball finials. According to Wagstaff, this was used by residents of Brampton House, located a short distance up the valley side to the north west, as a back entrance when walking across their parkland to the railway station.
