Full Description

{1} Three pit alignments, approx 18in deep, 3ft 6in wide and 6ft long. No pottery or bone was found but pollen from soil samples suggests that when the pits were dug the surrounding area was grassland. They probably date from the late Bronze Age or early Iron Age.
