1777 Militia list records under Daventry, John Bland Miller
1791 Eyre's and Jeffries' map marks it, un-named
1803 Land purchased by Grand Union Canal Company to build Daventry New reservoir to supplement the existing reservoirs supplying the summit level of the canal
1804 Reservoir came into use, submerging the mill site

Some items of the mill's woodwork floated to the surface in the 1990s.
