{1} Milepost. C1893. Cast iron. Rectangular plate with inscription. GJCCO LEICESTER 40 MILES. The 'old' Grand Union Canal of 1810-14 became the Leicester Line of the Grand Junction Canal in 1893-4. This milepost is one of a series.
