Full Description

{1} Two apsidal-ended cellars were encountered. They extended 0.72m into the trench, approx 4.5m from the frontage of the present buildings. They had been constructed of roughly cut limestone blocks bonded together with off-white mortar. The upper part of each had been rebuilt relatively recently using modern red bricks bonded with hard grey/white Portland cement. Each cellar was 1.4m wide.
