Full Description

{1} A coin, probably of Constantine, found at Blackgrounds pre 1968.

{2} Finds including a brass cunobelin, 2 other brass coins, a small imperial Greek brass of Caracalla and a Saxon sceatta

{3} Samian, Nene valley ware and other pot sherds and small objects have been picked up and still abound over a large area.

{4} Finds of Romano-British material found at Blackgrounds at SP505485. (G. Foard: all other grid refs in this source are inaccurate so this is probably wrong too)

{6} Many coins have been recorded ranging from Domitian to the end of the Roman period, but belonging mostly to the later empire (AD250-390).
