Full Description

{2} T. Welsh records a moat-like feature, no higher than the surrounding meadow and formed by ditches no wider than 7m crest to crest. Only three sides survive, the present south side formed by a stream diversion of c.1930s date. Possibly a utility moat for protection of livestock or property.
