Summary
Whitfield, Hodgsons and Brough's shoe machinery factory was built between 1924 and 1929 on the east side of Lawson Road. It consists of a brick-built two storey range fronting the street and a series of single storeyed north lit ranges to the rear.

Full Description
{1} A building in Northamptonshire once occupied by a shoe repair and key cutting equipment manufacturer has been seriously damaged in a fire. About 100 sq. m. of roof has been destroyed and part of the office area severly damaged.
