Full Description

{1} AA describes this WW2 brick structure as being “very similar to those at Kingsthorpe (now demolished) and Oundle, although it may have been ‘cut down’ on its north end to create a shorter structure. The high window just below the roof slab is the same as those at Kingsthorpe. A range of garage type buildings along the southern boundary may have been Motor Transport sheds for the depot. The lean-to structure on the decontamination building might be an original feature that has been re-used.”
