Full Description

{1} Modern OS mapping marks the site of Cheley Well. The site ocmprises a small triangular wooded area with dense vegetation preventing closer inspection and determination of the nature of the well - possibly a natural spring? This feature is not identified on the early 19th century OS 2in unpublished mapping.
