Full Description
{1} Area A comprised a group of anomalies with a broad but discontinuous north west to south east linear trend. They may be of geological origin.
{3} A broad zone of large, amorphous positive anomalies extending across the centre of the survey area probably represents a set of channel deposits within the underlying terrace gravels. The similar anomalies to the south, which were identified as having archaeological potential in 1996, are also likely to be of geological origin.
